Battambang Province and Kampong Thom Province are vital contributors to Cambodia's rice production, showcasing the country's agricultural strength. In Battambang, approximately 400,000 hectares of land are dedicated to rice cultivation, making it one of the largest rice-growing regions in the country.

Meanwhile, Kampong Thom boasts around 350,000 hectares of rice fields, highlighting its significant role in supporting local farmers and contributing to national food security.
